Who is eligible: The Telehealth Plan provides Business Members and their Employees with access to telehealth services through a robust online web platform.
Employees can connect with providers for live Urgent Care visits via live video conferencing, secure text chat, or telephone from wherever they are so that they don’t have to make time-consuming office or hospital visits to receive care.
Connect with a Medical Professional
- Virtual and phone visits with board-certified, licensed and credentialed medical professionals 24/7 for urgent care needs
- Includes diagnosis, treatment recommendations, and medication prescription (if appropriate)
- Provides urgent care for conditions such as allergies, pink eye, rashes, bronchitis, sinus infection, flu, strep throat, cold sores, hypertension, gout, acne, UTI and many more
Flexible, Convenient Services
- Select a provider within the Telehealth Plan network and service area
- Telehealth Services are available via website, telephone or the Amwell mobile app (iOS or Android)
- Connect for immediate consultations
- Multi-way video feature allows for additional participants to join the visit, such as a specialist, family member, caregiver, or language translator
- Employees may also schedule visits for their children under age 18
Secure Health Records (HIPAA-compliant)
- Visit Summary and consultation details, including diagnoses and prescriptions, are available for review and export
- Prescriptions can be prescribed via a live video session and sent directly to a local pharmacy
- Follow up suggestions and details of each visit and diagnosis can be accessed and acted upon following each visit
